The combination of the sweet, feminine details and charm and elegance of Chanteclaire Farm is what caught my eye from this barn wedding in Garrett County. Captured by Britani Edwards Photography, Sarah and John’s wedding was full of spring cheer and romantic scenes. The white door entrance at the ceremony and the lush, blush florals throughout seemed to be the perfect wedding day adornments for their venue. There was also a touch of unique personality with shotgun shell details and cowboy boots.

FROM BRITANI (the photographer):

I am beyond thrilled to share this rustic Maryland farm wedding with you! Much thought was put into every detail of Sarah and John’s wedding. Sarah’s bridesmaids were stunning in their blush gowns and the groomsmen wore hand-crafted shotgun shell boutonnieres and shotgun shell tie clips provided by Farmhouse Fête.

Sarah envisioned her wedding to be a joy-filled day surrounded by family and friends. She chose a blush and navy pallet with a rustic, modern twist. Their main goal was to keep things simple, relaxed and most importantly an all-around good time for their guests. Sarah and John chose to do a first look so they could enjoy the intimate moment together and be fully in the moment when seeing each other for the first time. The first look allowed for more time to capture family and bridal party shots, as well as more time to artistic portraits of just the bride & groom.

The altar was at the end of a stone path adorned with gorgeous florals from Farmhouse Fête. Sarah and John wrote their own vows, which brought laughter and happy tears to their guests. The 1870’s barn was filled with character and charm. The evening was rustic, romantic and semi-casual. After the ceremony, guests gathered in the lower level of the barn for cocktail hour and the reception followed on the main level of the barn. Large crystal chandeliers, antique bottles, fresh florals, and a canoe filled with delicious treats filled the room. The meal and Italian amaretto naked wedding cake were provided by Chanteclaire Farm and were beyond delicious!

Most couples don't want to think about the possibility of it raining on their wedding day. I must point out though, having rain and fog can make the images really romantic.
