LOVING ELOPEMENT AT WISP RESORT

REAL WEDDING
by
Jacqie McKenzie

It’s Pride Month! At The Deep Creek Wedding, we celebrate love and support marriage equality! Deep Creek Lake is a magical area for any destination wedding or elopement and offers breathtaking views. These two lovebirds chose The Wisp as the venue for their “I dos”, and the scene from the top of the mountain is like that from a storybook. Surrounded by only their closest friends and family, Tim and Darren exchanged vows and shared the love that binds them together. We can’t think of a better way to show that love is the winning force.

We are quite honored to share this incredible elopement by Shannon Gray Photography with you!

From Shannon Gray:
Tim and Darren’s elopement was one of the most amazing ones I have ever had the opportunity to photograph. They were surrounded by so many amazing people. From what I recall, they were together over 24 years prior to getting married. They all arrived together and set up the ceremony location, which was super easy and quick to do.

The ceremony was so touching and meaningful and they had some really sweet family and friends (two friends actually gifted them with photography for the day!). After the ceremony, there was some bubbly, laughter and so many hugs! I am so happy and thankful they chose me to document their beautiful day.

Chanteclaire Farm is one of Garrett County's most popular barn venues for couples getting married. Carrie Leigh Photography captured a gorgeous September wedding. We're in love with the soft purple and pink details found throughout Gabby and Nathan's big day! From Carrie, the photographer: As a newbie photographer, I gathered my courage to set up a booth Lakeview's Bridal Show in the Spring of 2015. I know I easily met over 100 brides. It was a little overwhelming, but totally worth it! I was looking for exposure, and the bridal show provided that! It wasn't until a few weeks later on a Wednesday, I showed Gabby to my operatory for a r ...

LOVE ON A BOAT: JENNINGS RANDOLPH LAKE
There is a known superstition that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck and I have always believed in it. A little rain and wind didn't put a damper on this boat wedding from Jacqie Q Photography. She recently captured Lacey and Michael's beautiful and intimate wedding on Jennings Randolph Lake. Lacey's dress was so unique and fun. The wedding colors were teal and coral, which is perfect for a wedding on the water. The wedding day might have been filled with rain and wind, but it also looks like it was filled with so much love. FROM LACEY (the bride): Most people would think that rain on your wedding day is the last thing t ...
