Q+A WITH 4 WHEELS PHOTOGRAPHY
WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN COMMON WITH YOUR CLIENTS?
Since I only specialize in elopements, I would say we are both laid back and casual. A love of fun is a must. Weddings don’t have to be a stressful production! It’s all about you, so let it be fun, laid back and casual.
WHAT MADE ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE EVENTS SO SPECIAL?
A bride and groom wanted to get married by a waterfall in the winter, so we made our way along with the officiant to Tolliver Falls at Swallow Falls State Park. It was 23 degrees and they got married wearing a suit and a wedding dress with no jackets! Afterward, she wanted the full picture package, so we bopped around and took pics in the snow. Such a fun couple! I know it was a day they will never forget.
WHAT TOOL CAN YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT?
My camera and lenses, of course!
WHAT IS THE HIGHEST COMPLIMENT A COUPLE CAN GIVE YOU?
Any compliments are always special, but when they contact me at a later date to take anniversary or family pictures, that’s the best compliment.
WHY SHOULD A COUPLE MARRY IN THE DEEP CREEK AREA?
Regardless of the style or type of wedding you chose, there cannot be a more beautiful place to hold a wedding than Garrett County. Do you want to marry atop the highest waterfall in Maryland with just you and your mate, then explore the woods taking pictures? Do you want the full wedding experience where the venue supplies everything and all you need to do is show up and enjoy your day? How about saying I Do in the oldest church that also happens to be octagonal? Maybe rent a home where your entire family can stay and have a mini vacation while creating memories that will last a lifetime? Garrett County has all that and more!
WHAT IS THE 4 WHEELS PHOTOGRAPHY WEDDING?
This is based on an actual wedding, but it fit me to a tee! Guitar music is flowing throughout the valley, a groom dressed in tails and custom handmade top hat is standing atop a waterfall awaiting his bride, who appears in a full, vintage gown. The ceremony consists of the bride and groom atop that waterfall telling their unique love story, and devoting their lives to each other with only an officiant and God present.
IF YOUR BUSINESS WAS A BEVERAGE, WHICH ONE WOULD IT BE?
A chocolate martini… spunky and fun for the most part, but with a serious, down to earth side.
