A LANTERN SEND OFF AT BRIAN AND TARA’S DEEP CREEK WEDDING
Tara’s lace gown and Brian’s blue suit set the style for this wedding at Chanteclaire Farm complete with a lantern send off! What a unique way to celebrate your love with family and friends! Deep Creek Lake is full of lush jade and emerald backdrops in the summer. Tara and Brian’s chosen wedding colors complimented these green hues found around the grounds of Chanteclaire Farm. Pull inspiration from this wedding and use a pop of color in your wedding design. We are happy to see the color trend continue into 2017!
From Diane of Derek+Diane:
Brian and Tara are both from the Garrett County area. Brian attended Northern High while Tara went to Southern. Funny thing is they did not meet there. They graduated college and both found careers in the Philadelphia area, that’s where they met and fell in love. Well a few short years later they found themselves back in their hometown celebrating their marriage at Chanteclaire Farm with their closest family and friends. How cool, right!?
The wedding day was pretty low key, low stress. They were all just there to have a good time and celebrate. It was a good day! Brian and Tara did a “first touch” we’re calling it. They didn’t want to see each other but they had personal/intimate vows that were meant for each other to hear, and no one else. So we had them meet on opposite sides of the tree and then left shortly after Brian gave Tara a personalized book of their memories together so they could read their vows in private. It was really special.
And then we ended the night with a lantern send-off!
